E-waste, or electronic waste, is the fastest growing source of waste in the United States thanks to constantly changing technology. Americans are now replacing their electronics every few years. Recycling those unwanted electronics conserves natural resources like copper and aluminum, reduces greenhouse emissions, and protects our health by keeping toxic materials like mercury out of our soil and water.
